Julia Taylor-Brown Curator, Creator, Brand Builder

Julia Taylor-Brown is a fifth-generation Angeleno, nurtured by a family of sculptors, painters, weavers, and musicians. With an unwavering passion for infusing visual and emotional impact into her work, Julia thrives on purpose-driven creativity across all mediums, from digital realms to pen and ink. Her journey through the creative landscape has spanned industries ranging from fashion, entertainment, and athletics to live events, lifestyle, consumer products, and hospitality.

As Chief Brand Officer at The Garcia Companies, Julia leads the charge in crafting compelling brand narratives and visual identities that resonate deeply with audiences. Her role extends beyond traditional boundaries, as she brings her boundless creativity to both brands and talent within the company's portfolio. Building brands from the ground up, from Dany Garcia + Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's ZOA Energy, to spearheading her own dessert venture, Julia's entrepreneurial spirit knows no bounds.

Julia's journey to the C-Suite wasn't conventional. She started in the mailroom at Brillstein Entertainment Partners, learning the ropes from the ground up before charting her own course through the realms of marketing, creative direction, and brand strategy. Along the way, she's left her mark on iconic institutions like the American Film Institute and Soho House Group, while also lending her talents to an array of freelance projects, from crafting Spotify for Brands' inaugural white paper to illustrating Phoebe Lapine’s The Wellness Project for Penguin Random House.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Julia is a passionate advocate for arts education, serving on the board of Inner-City Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality arts programming to under-resourced youth in Los Angeles.
