Building brands at the intersection of principle and profit
Julia Taylor-Brown is a fifth-generation Angeleno, nurtured by a family of sculptors, painters, weavers, and musicians. With an unwavering passion for infusing visual and emotional impact into her work, she thrives on purpose-driven creativity across mediums, from digital realms to pen and ink. Her journey through the creative landscape has spanned industries from fashion, entertainment, and athletics to live events, consumer products, lifestyle, and hospitality.
Building brands from the ground up, from Dany Garcia + Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's ZOA Energy, to spearheading her own dessert venture, Julia's entrepreneurial spirit knows no bounds. Her current focus is on building, consulting with, and championing principled brands—those that align cultural resonance with integrity and impact. This commitment was sharpened both during her tenure as Chief Brand Officer at The Garcia Companies—where she helped shape the brand narratives of some of the world’s most visible talent and their ventures—and through her Masters in Branding at the School of Visual Arts, where she combined rigorous cultural and theoretical study with applied strategic and creative practice.
Earlier in her career, Julia contributed to cultural touchstones that defined their fields, from Soho House and Spotify to Brillstein Entertainment Partners and the American Film Institute, deepening her belief in the power of brands to move people and create lasting impact.
Beyond her professional endeavors, she is a passionate advocate for arts education, serving on the board of Inner-City Arts, a non-profit dedicated to providing high-quality arts programming to under-resourced youth in Los Angeles.
